  6. Windows 3.X running in standard or enhanced mode.

  9. Installing the Program
  10.  
  11. Using the MS-DOS shell, or the Windows File Manager, create a 
  12. subdirectory for the program.  For example: 
  13.  
  14. MKDIR C:\ACLOCK
  15.  
  16. Then copy all files from the distribution disk into the subdirectory.  
  17. For example: 
  18.  
  19. COPY A:\*.* C:\ACLOCK
  20.  
  21. The program is made up of the following files:  ACLOCK.EXE, ACLOCK.DAT, 
  22. ACLOCK.HLP, and USERS_GD.WRI.
  23.  
  24. Using the Windows Program Manager, select the File menu and the New 
  25. submenu.  Then select the Program Group button and the OK button.  Enter 
  26. ACLOCK in the Description field, and ACLOCK in the Group File Field.   
  27. Select the OK button.

  29. Select the File menu and the New submenu again.  This time, select the 
  30. Program Item button and the OK button.  Enter ACLOCK in the Description 
  31. field, and enter the location of the program in the Command Line field, 
  32. for example:

  34. C:\ACLOCK\ACLOCK.EXE

  36. Select the OK button.

  38. The program is now installed.

  41. Automatically Loading the Program
  42.  
  43. If you want the program to be automatically loaded every time you start 
  44. Windows, edit the WIN.INI file in your Windows directory. 
  45.  
  46. Add the pathname of the program to the line beginning with "load=".  For 
  47. example, the following line causes the clock program and ACLOCK to be 
  48. loaded every time Windows starts:

  50. load=clock C:\ACLOCK\ACLOCK

  53. Running the Program

  55. After starting the program, press F1 and you will be given information 
  56. about running the program.
